LA Cheer Force Places Third in World’s Championship
Louisiana Cheer Force "Gold," a small senior coed 5 team from Baton Rouge, LA, with several members from Central, just won a World’s Bronze medal at the Cheerleading World's Championship in Orlando, Florida. This team consists of 12-18 year old athletes from the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. This team competed against 96 of the best teams across the world and took home the 3rd place title and bronze medal. They are the first team to ever medal from Louisiana at this prestigious and extremely athletic event. This is such a huge accomplishment and this team is extremely proud to not only bring home the bronze medals and Globe trophy for their gym, Louisiana Cheer Force, but also for the State of Louisiana! These athletes display their athletic talent in a 2 min and 30 second routine jam-packed with tumbling, stunting, jumps, and dance. Their performance will be aired on ESPN in May. You can follow their gym on Facebook (Louisiana Cheer force) and www.lacheerforce.com. Details from the competition can be found on www.usasf.net!
