    During the month of April 2014 in the city of Central, a total of 13 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $2,978,172.  
    Within these April permits, two were issued in Woodstock with an average valuation of $210,631; one in Village Lakes with a valuation of $264,814; one in Village at Magnolia Square valued at $209,832; four in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $170,971; one in Gates at Burlington valued at $138,706; one in Bellingrath Lakes valued at $322,550; one in Wisteria Lakes valued at $211,602; one in Oak Cluster valued at $347,868 and one in Hampton Village valued at $377,652.
    Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
    On the commercial side, a permit was applied for a commercial remodeling at 14790 Wax Rd, Ste 108 in the amount of $70,245; and a remodeling permit at 13623 Hooper Rd in the amount of $475,190.
