November Building Permits

From the City of Central

            During the month of November 2013 in the city of Central, a total of 17 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $3,652,752.

            Within these permits, three were issued in Woodstock with an average valuation of $197,676; one in Burlington Lakes valued at of $153,624; one in Gates at Burlington valued at $172,086; one in Hampton Village valued at $233,398;  one in Village Lakes valued at $200,398; six in Twin Lakes Estates with an average valuation of $226,880; one on Planchet Rd valued at $242,562; one on Joor Rd valued at $266,450; one in Cimmaron valued at $185,160; and one on Core Ln valued at $244,862.

            Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.

            On the commercial side, a permit was issued for an addition to American Farmhouse Produce & Grill at 9550 Hooper Rd.
