Christmas In Central

Beginning tonight, Christmas in Central festivities will be happening all weekend. The Christmas Tree Lighting will be tonight at 7PM at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan. There will be live musical performances at the lighting. On Friday, the carnival will open at the old Central Middle at the corner of Hooper and Sullivan from 5 to 10PM. Saturday will feature the Running of the Elves Fun Run beginning at 9:15AM in front of Computer Evolutions on Joor near Hooper. The Central Christmas Parade will roll at 10AM and will go from Joor at Hooper to Joor at Lovett. Those with parade floats should check with the Chamber of Commerce so they arrive early enough. The carnival will continue on Saturday from 10AM-10PM and on Sunday from 11AM to 9PM.
