During the month of September 2013 in the city of Central, a total of 14 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $3,052,208.
Within these permits, four were issued in Woodstock with an average valuation of $208,065; four in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $165,267; two in Village Lakes with an average valuation of  $245,573; one on Blackwater Rd valued at $174,942; one in Plantation Way valued at $288,010; one on Joor Rd valued at $361,890; and one in Jackson Place valued at $242,890.
Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
On the commercial side, a 1500 sq. ft. remodeling permit was issued at Walmart in the amount of $93,009; and a 1900 sq. ft. remodeling permit was issued at 10953 Joor Rd for Little Ceasar’s Pizza.
