Mary Claire Zachary Celebrates 100th Birthday

A birthday party was held at the Old Jefferson Community Care Center to celebrate 100 years of a life spent serving and loving others through hosting Bible Studies. Even now, with the support of her children and other community members, Mary continues to honor Jesus with song, teaching, and snacks from 10-1 on the second Saturday of every month at the center. Mary Claire Zachary was honored at the center last Wednesday (pictured). Her family hosted a party last Sunday at the OJCCC, where she currently resides, to celebrate her birthday.

She is enjoying all of the partying and welcomes anyone to join her for upcoming Bible studies. Mary was born in Ediston Mississippi, near Gloster, and has made all 100 years of her life a celebration, living her adult life in Baton Rouge.
