In Memoriam: Matthew Stephen Green

    Matthew Stephen Green, resident of Central, passed away September 28, 2013 at the age of 29. He was born December 28, 1983 in Tampa, FL. Matthew was a wonderful dad who was always very kind, loving and so proud of all his children. He passionately loved life, and had a huge heart. Matthew was an avid Gator fan and enjoyed coaching little league baseball and football, even when his child was not on the team. He was a longtime employee of ISC at Exxon. Matthew will be missed enormously by his three children, Brennan, Lillian and Klayton Green and their mother, Hayley Tarver Green; father, Bryan Green and wife Michelle; mother, Barbara Thompson; siblings, Nathan Green and wife Amanda, Kristin Thompson-Page and husband Jason, Jordan Green-Vidrine and husband Blayne, and Logan Tyler Green; maternal grandparents, Phillip and Edie Thompson; niece and nephews, Austin Thompson, Adria Thompson and Augustus Green; and numerous other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norris and Freida Green. Visitation will be Friday, October 4, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at Greenoaks Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday, October 5, 2013 at the funeral home from 9am until the funeral service at 10am officiated by Rev. Dickie Davis. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
