Alise Borruano Marries Darrell Ashford, Jr. in Plaquemine

    Alise Borruano of Plaquemine and Darrell Ashford, Jr. of Central were married on August 3, 2013 in a 1:00 ceremony at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plaquemine, Louisiana.  The wedding was officiated by Father Gregory Daigle.
    The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Susie and Mr. Angelos Borruano, Jr. of Plaquemine.  She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Merle and Mr. Angelo Borruano, Sr. of Brusly, the late Mrs. Dorothy Clement Borruano of Brusly, and the late Mrs. Angelina and Mr. Joseph Palazzo of Plaquemine.
    The groom is the son of Mrs. Darlene and Mr. Darrell Ashford, Sr. of Central.  He is the grandson of Ms. Syble Ashford of Central, the late Mr. Harold Jean Ashford of Central, and Mr. Silas Romero, Jr. of Central.
    The bride was attended by her maid of honor, Megan Borruano, and bridesmaids Chanel Distefano, Jamie Bond, Meghan Lanahan, and Danielle Delahaye.  The groom’s best man was Jordan Ashford.  Groomsmen were Dylan Borruano, Wade Ashford, Jacob Mounce, and Clint Nauta.  Ushers were Brant Palazzo and Blake Linxwiler.
    The reception was held at Addis Community Center.  After a cruise to Mexico, Belize, and Honduras, the couple will reside in Denham Springs, Louisiana.
