Gleaux Run 5K Coming to Central
On Saturday, November 16th, Relay for Life of Central will host a Gleaux Run 5K at Central Intermediate School. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to fund research and assistance for cancer patients and their families. Activities will begin at 5PM, and the runners will need to be signed in by 7. This family-friendly event will also feature a luminaria ceremony after the run to honor and remember those who have been affected by cancer. Keep an eye out for more information. In the mean time, you can sign up for the run by visiting active.com and searching for the Central Gleaux Run. The cost for the event is $15 in advance for ages 12 and under, and $25 in advance for ages 13 and up. Donations are also accepted during registration. All cancer survivors are invited to participate for FREE, but survivors must go to www.relayforlife.org/centralla to register.
