Do You Have PBS?

By  |

Have you seen signs or heard the letters PBS around your children’s schools? Would you like to know more about what that is and how it affects your children?

The Central Community School District’s Positive Behavioral Support Program, would like to invite you to a Parent Night. The purpose of this event is to provide you with information about the PBS programs in your children’s schools and to answer any questions that you may have regarding the program. It will also provide you with information to be able to bring PBS into the home to foster an effective behavior management program for the family as well.

In addition to the information on the PBS program, we are fortunate to have also teamed up with Neighbors Federal Credit Union and its joint effort with the Internet Protection Agency (IPA).  You may have seen some of the IPA’s Public Service Announcements on WAFB Channel 9.  Neighbors and IPA have joined together in an effort to help in the battle against those who prey on our children

via the internet.  The two presenters are former Special Agents of the Louisiana Department of Justice.  They have exclusively investigated internet predator and child pornography cases as part of Louisiana’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  It is our goal that with the proper tools, we can prevent ourselves and our loved ones from becoming victims.
