In Memoriam: Dustin Blake Hamilton

    Dustin Blake Hamilton, a resident of Central, passed away September 27, 2013 at the age of 24. Dustin graduated from Central High School and Southeastern LA University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He was a two year veteran of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office, and was on duty at the time of death. Dustin truly enjoyed being a deputy and had a passion for law enforcement.

    Those left to grieve are his parents, Bruce and Nanette Hamilton; fiancé, Hanan Daas and his dog, Colt; brother, Nicholas Hamilton and wife Sarah; nephews, Malachi and Gabriel; grandmother, Ouida Hamilton; uncle, Barney L. Beebe Jr. and wife Annette; aunt, Tammy Terral; uncle, Jerry Hamilton and wife Amanda; and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Barney Sr. and Hattie Beebe; step grandfather, Edgar Domingue; and grandfather, George C. Hamilton. Pallbearers are Cody D'Amico, Paul O'Neill, Deputy James Jamison, Sgt. Kevin D. Davis, Lee Beebe, Ryan Beebe, Trey Beebe, and Chris Fabre. Honorary pallbearers will be Lt. Bell, Deputy Cody Grace, and Det. Jeff Norton.

    Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 4pm until 8pm, and will resume on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from 8am until funeral service at 12pm.
