All Pro Dads Kick Off the Year at CIS

    All Pro Dads of Central Intermediate School had our kick off breakfast for the 2013-2014 school year this past week.  This will be our fifth year having breakfasts once a month for Dads and their children at CIS.  Over 160 Dads, Moms, Grandparents and guardians along with their 5th grade children met at Central Intermediate School for breakfast and a fun time of interaction between the kids and the adults.  The theme this month was “A Second Chance.”  We start off each breakfast with the parents or guardians affirming their children by saying something that they have done the past month that made them proud.  I love going from table to table and watching the big smiles that come on the faces of the children as their Dad or other significant adult in their life begins to say why they are proud of the child.  We would like to thank Ms. Rhonda Taylor, Mr. Jeremy Obannion, Tim Lazaroe of RV Cams as well as all the volunteers from Central Church for making this breakfast possible.
