Cookin’ for Moore, OK Fri & Sat

    After a 4 week rain delay, Cooking in Central kicks off Friday at 5PM with Central’s Largest Crawfish Boil, LSU Baseball on big screen TVs, and Colorblind Band.  This year’s event has also dedicated 100% of all food sales during the weekend to benefit the Moore, OK school system.  Two representatives from the Moore schools will be on site all weekend.
    Saturday the fun starts at 10 with live and silent auctions, the great Cook-Off, plenty of food, performances by local groups and a whole area dedicated to kids’ games.  Governor Jindal will be on hand at 2:00 Saturday to celebrate this great event and greet our Oklahoma dignitaries.
    The entire Cookin’ event will also be available on live streamed video.  Go to www.InsideLASports.com and click on the “Cooking in Central” Link for event coverage and interviews Friday and Saturday.
    Plan to spend an exceptional weekend of support for Oklahoma, LSU Baseball, great food, and a good time with a few thousand of your Central friends and neighbors.  Remember to bring canned goods, clothing and school supplies to “Pack the PODs” to send to Moore, Oklahoma.  
 
Cookin’ Event Schedule
Friday’s schedule includes crawfish starting at 5PM and Colorblind playing from 6-9.  The LSU Baseball Super Regional game will also be on big screen TV’s Friday night.  Saturday’s schedule is as follows:
