Tree Cutting Reminder

TREE CUTTING REMINDER: Please do not place cut-down tree or trash debris on vacant property. Allied Waste will only pickup tree and trash debris in front of an occupied residence. Also, make sure there is at least 3 feet between your debris and the street in order to avoid a traffic hazard, and do not place debris in ditches or under power lines. Most importantly, if you hire a contractor or tree service to cut down a tree on your property, that contractor or service MUST remove the debris. Do not let them tell you that Allied or the city will pick it up. When dealing with a tree service, always get a written contract, do not pay until the work is complete, and pay by check in case you need to cancel the check. Always make sure the tree service is properly licensed.
