In Memoriam: Aubrey Lynn Wiggins, Sr.

    Aubrey Lynn Wiggins, Sr., 67, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at his home in Baker, LA. Aubrey was a longtime member of Life Tabernacle Church where he was baptized on Christmas Day almost 50 years ago. He has continued to serve his Lord and church through his love for people, visiting, laughing and telling stories. He never met a stranger and made all those he came in contact with feel special. Visitation will be held at Life Tabernacle Church, 9323 Hooper Road, Central, LA, on Wednesday, May 15, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, May 16, from 8 a.m. until service at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. B.A. Spell. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Garden. Survived by his children, Charlene Duclos, Donna Wiggins, Aubrey Lynn Wiggins, Jr., and Kalie Wiggins; grandchildren, Brooklyn, Trey, Chase, Aubrey, Austin and Aulyssa; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, J.T., Ben, Billy, and Garland Wiggins and Drew Blackstock; sisters, Gladys Waters, Sunshine Lee, Jessie Butler and Charlotte Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond, Sr. and Nora Ashcraft Wiggins; step-daughters, Tammy Stephens and Sheryl Fontenot; and brothers, Bud, Ira, Howard and Jesse Charles Wiggins.
