The Greenwell Springs Youth Riders invites you to attend their 55th annual Pro Rodeo on May 3rd and 4th at the Shady Park Arena in Central. The rodeo starts at 8pm nightly and admission is $10/adult, $5/ages 5-17, and free for those under 5. This annual rodeo is the only fundraiser for the group.
This non-profit group has promoted horsemanship, teamwork, and a sense of value to hundreds of kids in the greater Baton Rouge area. You can see them in rodeos and parades decked out in their red and white uniforms. They have performed at the Angola Prison Rodeo, local Tri-State rodeos, La Equine Expos, out of state rodeos, Mardi Gras parades, and Christmas parades.
