Central Cleanup & Cooking: Two Great Events for One Great City

Join Central Leadership for Tomorrow (CLT) at 8AM on April 27th for the Second Annual Central Ceanup Day. Last year a team of over 100 volunteers took to the streets of Central and removed trash from many miles of our streets. Show up in the parking lot in front of Pat's at Sullivan and Hooper at 8AM and join in this year for a morning of service to Central. If you can, please sign up ahead of time on Facebook under the event CLT 2nd Annual City Cleanup Day so they have an idea of how many people to expect. Even if you cannot help that day, please consider leaving your trash cans out by the curb after trash pickup to allow volunteers to place no more than one bag of trash in your garbage can. This will really help cut down on the man power needed to pick up loose trash bags.
Then, on May 10th and 11th drive down Central's freshly cleaned streets to "Amazing Place" on Blackwater Road, the home of "Cooking in Central" for this year's big event.
