Looking for something fun and different to do this Saturday? Come out to the Cat House for some Central Wildcat Lacrosse.  The Wildcats will be playing their last 2 games of the season at home.  The Wildcats are on a 3 game winning streak (We have won 4 overall).  Our wins have been against some of the toughest teams in the league—our first win was against Dutchtown, then we beat the Louisiana Hurricanes in over time, next was Dutchtown again, and this past Sunday, we beat Catholic.
The team has come a long way from just playing 3 games total last year. This year we have 22 kids on the team.  The Wildcats Lacrosse team is made up of kids from 8th grade to seniors.  They are also not all from Central.  We have 3 boys from Denham Springs and 1 from Walker.  So, as you can see, we are a very diverse team.  We are hoping to have 40 – 45 kids playing next year.
So, come out this Saturday at the Cat House (the football field at the old Central Middle School) to watch the fastest game on two feet.  The Wildcats will be playing St Thomas Moore of Lafayette at 1 and 3.  Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children.  All Central students can get in free with their school ID.  Also, if you have a backer’s pass, you get in free too!  Come out to support Central Wildcat Lacrosse and see why we are so proud of this team! You may even find yourself loving this new up and coming sport!
