Another Great All Pro Dads Breakfast

    On Thursday, March 21st Central Church held another “All-Pro Dad” breakfast at the Central Intermediate School.  We had a really great turn-out with fourth-graders and their dads (some moms & grandparents).  There were lots of laughs as each dad showed everyone what his best touch down celebration would be like after taking an imaginary handoff from their child and crossing the goal line.  Dads were encouraged to celebrate the victories in their child’s life and to hug their kids often. They also wrote notes to one another saying “I love you because…”  It was very touching to hear some of the children come to the front and read what they had written to their Dads before the whole audience.  The Dads were encouraged to write notes every now and then to their children.  As usual, door prizes were given.  We would like to thank Mrs. Rhonda Taylor, Mr. Jeremy Obanion, all the staff of Central Intermediate School and this week’s sponsors: Zoe’s Pizza Buffet and Central Church.
