Emily Holmes and Joshua Millet to Wed at St. Agnes

    Emily Lauren Holmes, of Central, and Joshua Paul Millet, of St. Amant, will marry in a 7 p.m. ceremony May 10 at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
    The bride-elect is the daughter of Margie and Carl Holmes Jr., of Central. She is the granddaughter of Virginia Contine, of Baton Rouge, the late Isadore Contine and the late Christine and Carl Holmes Sr. of Baker.
    The bride-elect is a graduate of Central High School and Our Lady of the Lake College. She is a radiologic and mammography technologist with Elliott Mastology Center.
    Her fiancé is the son of Wade and Dwanda Millet, of St. Amant. He is the grandson of Bernard Babin Sr., of St. Amant, the late Judy Babin, the late Raymond Millet, and Joyce White, of St. Amant.
    He is a graduate of St. Amant High School and Our Lady of the Lake College. He is a radiologic technologist with Our Lady of the Lake Livingston.
