CHS Softball Wins Five in a Row

The Central Softball team had a great run, last week and over the weekend. They went on a 5-0 run starting with Redemptorist last Wednesday and ending with Southwood, in the Sulphur tournament, this past Saturday. The team beat Redemptorist 15-0, Scotlandville 18-0, Lafayette 3-1, Parkway 2-0, and Southwood 5-2. Solid defense and some key at bats helped the Wildcats to be victorious in these five games. Furthermore, the JV saw success over the weekend in the Sulphur tournament by beating Ruston 14-1 and Port Neches-Groves (PNG) High School out of Texas 3-2.
