Grandparents Dance This Saturday

    The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Information Center and Kristenwood Catering & Reception will be hosting its 3rd annual Grandparents Dance on Saturday, March 23 from 6PM to 10PM.  The event will be held at Kristenwood Catering & Reception, 14025 Greenwell Springs Road, Central, 70739.  The attire is semi-formal.
  This dance is a respite activity for grandparents and other relatives who have taken on the rols of parents a second time around.  Louisiana ranks third in the nation with children living with grandparents or other relative caregivers.
   The Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Information Center of LA, Inc.  is a non-profit organization providing information and support to grandparents and other relative caregivers who are raising children who are not their own.
   Tickets are $5 each and can be obtained from any Grandparent Board Member or by calling Dot Thibodeaux at 355-5442 or Gisels Haralson at 772-1978.  Come out and enjoy an evening of dancing, food, and fun.
