2 Chances to Help Our Neighbors This Weekend

This Saturday, there will be a jambalaya fundraiser at Central Winn Dixie beginning at 11AM.  The fundraiser will benefit the Dantin family here in Central.  Meals are $5 each and include jambalaya, salad, bread, and a brownie.  To learn more about the Dantin family and how you can help, visit http://helpsavethedantinfamilyhome.blogspot.com.

This Sunday, there will be a Project Walk meeting in the CHS Theater at 5PM.  Project Walk is a project to help Central High's Coach J.R. Owens receive treatment to improve his condition.  Coach J.R. joined the CHS football staff last year and has been an inspiration to many players.  Once patrolling the field for ball carriers, he is now confined to a wheelchair.  This will be an informative meeting about a rehabilitation hospital in California that deals with Coach J.R.'s condition.  Please come out and support the effort, as all help is needed to make Coach J.R.'s dreams come true.
