In March, the eighth grade class at St. Alphonsus Catholic School will venture off on the annual Mobile Classroom road trip.  During the week-long trip the class will visit many historical and educational sites.  They begin their trek in Memphis, Tennessee at the St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  They then continue on to Hannibal, Missouri, where they will visit the home of Mark Twain among other things.  From there they travel to St. Louis to see the Westward Expansion Museum, Gateway Arch, Cathedral Basillica and St. Louis Food Bank just to name a few.  Their final stop will be Our Lady of Snows National Shrine in Belleville, Illinois. Throughout the trip the students will continue with their school work in different subjects all incorporating the places they will be visiting.
Please help to support the Eighth Grade Mobile Classroom by purchasing jambalaya dinners at their jambalaya fundraiser from 10:30am-2pm under the bus port on March 3rd. Cost is $6 per plate.
