Annual Rebel Run Winners Announced

    The Third Annual Rebel Run 5K was held on Saturday, February 9, at Central Private School.  Runners followed a course that took them down Centerra Court to Gurney Road through part of Willowood Acres and then back to the school.  Medals were awarded based on age and gender divisions to the following winners:
    Female Medal Winners: Emily Threeton (ages 5-9), Whitney Williston (ages 10-15), Heather Bennett (ages 16-20), Katherine Schilling (ages 21-25), April Renard (ages 26-30), Melonie Ellzey (ages 31-35), Sherry Threeton (ages 36-40), Debbie Bennett (ages 41-45), Stacy Belgard (ages 46-50), and Jan Easley (ages 51 & up) 
    Male Medal Winners: Reese Dean (ages 5-9), Kory Nijoka (ages 10-15), Austin Adams (ages 16-20), James Harthoorn (ages 31-15), Kyle Dean (ages 41-45), Al Naquin (ages 46-50), and David Knelling (ages 51 & up)
    Overall Medal Winners:  Female – Amie Gilbert;  Male – Troy Alello
     The Annual Rebel Run 5K is co-sponsored by the Central Private School Parents’ Club and the CPS National Honor Society.  Ms. Jill Coon, NHS sponsor and high school science teacher, chairs the Rebel Run committee.  Proceeds from this annual race are used by the Parents’ Club to fund educational supply requests made by classroom teachers.
