Run or Walk Community 5K This Saturday

    Central High Cross-Country and Track is proud to present our inaugural Ochsner Central Community 5K Run. The run will take place on February 23rd, 2013 at Central Middle School. Registration and T-shirt pick up begins at 7:30AM. The 5K walk/run begins at 8:30AM.
    The run will go around the middle school and through the adjacent neighborhoods. Awards, results, and attendee prizes will be presented at 9:30AM and all pre-registered runners/walkers will receive a T-shirt. Cajun Timing will be the official race timers and all results will be posted online. Awards will be presented to the top finishers in each age group.
    Registration is $25 for 5K run, $15 for Central teachers, faculty, and students. Registration fee increases to $30 on race day. Checks can be made payable to Central High Cross-Country. Online registration is available at www.centralcommunity5k.com.
    All proceeds go toward Central High Cross-Country & Track teams as well as BREC/Central parks trail improvements. This is a great event for all ages, so bring your kids, family, and friends out for this fun event!
