“Brandon, in the almost two years that we were side by side, I got to know such a wonderful friend. Side by side on the way to Afghanistan, while we were there, and somehow managed to be stationed together when we returned stateside. I can honestly say that I have never met someone so willing to bend over backwards for another person. You had the most genuine heart. They say that everyone you meet in life is for a reason. I have figured out that your reason in my life was to show me that there are people who will be a true friend through thick and thin. Because of your passing, I have gotten to speak with your mom, dad, brother and see the most beautiful little girl, your niece. You and your mom are so much alike. Through all of my ups and downs, she has always been concerned for me and my family. And I can't thank her enough for that. But most of all Brandon, I thank you. Thank you for always being you and never putting anything other than a smile on my face. You are dearly missed my co-worker, my shipmate, but most of all my friend.” -Crystal
He was an excellent sailor, comrade in arms and NCO. He is deeply missed by his immediate and extended family.
