Stanford Victims’ Class Action Lawsuit Approved

Victims of the Stanford investment scheme that lost much or all of their life savings have been given the green light to proceed with a class action lawsuit on behalf of any or all Stanford victims. Many families in Central were among the victims in this scam. The suit is against the Louisiana Office of Financial Institutions and SEI Investments Co. and seeks to recover losses in the $7.2 billion fraud perpetrated by Robert Allen Stanford. Stanford is currently serving a prison term of 110 years.
