Ochsner Offers Kidney Disease Seminar

    According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) an estimated 26 million adults in the US have chronic kidney disease – with many of them unaware that they have it.  Because the disease does not traditionally exhibit symptoms until the later stages it often goes undetected.
    Ochsner Baton Rouge Nephrologist Ronald Reichel, MD will discuss chronic kidney disease at the December Hello Health educational seminar on Tuesday, December 11th at noon at Mansur’s on the Boulevard (5720 Corporate Boulevard). Dr. Reichel will discuss normal kidney function and chronic kidney disease as well as treatment options available including transplant and dialysis.
