Giving Opportunity Benefitting CHS Band Program

By  |

The students that make up the Central High School Wildcat Band are energized to learn, engaged to perform, and take advantage of their opportunities.  They have enthusiastic teachers, great atmosphere, and plenty of school spirit.

Unfortunately, our students are equipped with less than adequate equipment and barely have enough to outfit everyone in the band.  Currently, we are in line to provide each student an instrument.  The future has us looking at several years of growth which includes small graduating classes with large incoming classes of Freshmen.  While this is a good problem to have,  it is none-the-less a problem we need to address now so we are able to accommodate everyone with an instrument, uniform, and any other equipment needed to continue the tradition of excellence we are proud of here in Central.
There are several levels to this giving opportunity and we appreciate your support.  We will recognize your gift with labels at the back of our band trailer and free advertising in our concert programs.  This will tell all our students that it was you who invested in their success.
As you may know, instruments are expensive and average about $500 per instrument.  Here is an example of the impact your gift will bring:
$100 gift will purchase drum heads, drum sticks, mallets, and other small percussion accessories.
$500 gift will purchase trumpets, clarinets, flutes and other small instruments.
$1000 gift will purchase mellophones, marching baritones, trombones, and other medium sized instruments.
$2500 gift will purchase Sousaphones, Tenor Drums, large mallet instruments, and other large sized instruments.
$5000 gift will purchase a line of horns, and multiple uniforms for the growing program.
The Central Community School System serves students with limited financial means who are motivated and committed to creating success in their music education, career, and life.  Your financial gift will have a significant impact on their ability to maintain their goals of superior performances and high quality music education.  Thank you for partnering with our students and best wishes for a great year.
