Rep. Clif Richardson to be Grand Marshal of Central Christmas Parade

The Grand Marshal for this year’s Christmas in Central Parade is State Representative Clif Richardson.
Representative Richardson served for many years as Justice of the Peace and is currently serving his second term in the Louisiana House of Representatives. Richardson announced earlier this month that he will leave the House seat effective January 2, 2013 to devote himself full-time to his health as he is currently battling Cancer at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. If he cannot ride in the parade himself, his family will ride in his place.
We are happy to welcome Representative Richardson as Grand Marshal of this year’s Christmas Parade and wish him a speedy recovery as well.
