Christmas in Central Festival This Weekend

    Starting with the lighting of the community Christmas tree tonight, continuing with the 26th annual Christmas in Central Parade on Saturday, and carrying on through the weekend, Central will celebrate the holiday season with its annual Christmas festival. 
    This year will be slightly different from previous years with a change in the parade route. Instead of making its way down Hooper Rd, the parade will be moving down Joor Rd from Zoar Baptist Church to the Lovett Rd. intersection. 
    Another new addition to this year’s festivities is the Running of the Elves Fun Run, which will take place immediately before the parade. The runners will be running the parade route at 9:30 and the parade will start at 10:00. 
    In addition to these events, there will be a Christmas Carnival set up on the old Middle School grounds Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. See our calendar on pg. 4 for Carnival times.
