We are looking for new members to join the Krewe of Isis. Most of this year’s court is from Central and we would love to increase that representation even more! Our Krewe is the oldest and largest all female organization in Jefferson Parish (just outside of New Orleans) and this year we will celebrate our 41st Anniversary. We are a very traditional Mardi Gras organization that is committed to keeping Mardi Gras alive and well for generations to come.
Our 19 float parade with numerous marching bands, dance teams and other entertaining groups, provide a great show for the hundreds of thousands of parade watchers who come out to see the Ladies of Isis.  Our parade is held on the Saturday before Mardi Gras which is known as Super Mardi Gras Weekend. This year our parade will be Saturday, February 9th at 6:30 PM. With the theme of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, our organization truly lives up to this motto!
In addition to our annual Bal Masque and Parade, we have meetings and events throughout the year that keeps this group going long and growing strong.
If any ladies are interested in riding in our 2013 parade, there are a few spots available. Our dues are VERY affordable and include your costume, face painting and your ride in the parade. For more information, email [email protected] or visit our facebook page at Krewe of Isis.
    Thank you so very much!
