Central Community Thanksgiving Worship Service: Wednesday, November 14 7:00pm at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church, 19421 Greenwell Springs Rd. Message by Pastor Donnie Shaffer of Central Church. Music by GSBC Choir and Orchestra joined by Central area worship teams. Thanksgiving prayers and scripture readings by Central area pastors. Finger-food reception immediately following service.
First Baptist Church Central: This year, in thinking about the needs that are out there during the holiday season, one of the greatest needs are the emotional ones.  As we move into the holidays, there are many people that dread this time of year because their loved one has passed away, or because they are away from family for some reason.  With that in mind, our church wanted to do something to help.  We want to invite anyone who desires to come to a Thanksgiving Day dinner hosted at First Baptist Church Central.  If someone can't be with their family, we want them to come be a part of our family!  The event will take place on November 22 at 11 AM.  If anyone wants to attend, they simply need to RSVP with the church office: 225-261-3722.  There will be no charge for the meal, but an RSVP is required to attend.  We simply want folks to know that they are loved and that others care about them.. -Jason Allen, Pastor
