CMS Football: Excelling on the Field & in the Classroom

The 8th grade football team has worked & achieved its two goals for this season: a district championship—and now—a team grade point average of 3.0!!! There are 45 players on the team. Of those, 25 have a 3.0 GPA or higher and only 5 players have less than a 2.5. The 7th grade team ended the nine weeks with a 2.91 GPA, with 15 of its 30 players achieving a 3.0 GPA or higher. We would like to congratulate both teams for their academic achievement, and we know that you can continue to grow academically this school year. The coaches would also like to express extreme gratitude to all of the parents, administrators, and great teachers here at CMS!
