CMS Football Playing Tomorrow for BRBAA Championship

“Championship is On the Line!”

Two rival middle schools from rival towns will settle their differences on the football field and the championship is on the line!

The BRBAA League championship game (Saturday, Oct 20) has been cancelled. The teams in the BRBAA (Baton Rouge Boys’ Athletic Association) League are Central, Northwestern (Zachary), Baker, West Feliciana, and East Feliciana.

The CMS Wildcats (6-0) and Zachary (5-1) are the only teams undefeated in conference play and they are scheduled to compete Tuesday, Oct 9 at Wildcats’ Stadium. Because this will be Zachary’s last conference game (their last game is Monday, Oct 15 vs Livonia), the winner of the CMS Wildcats and Zachary will be crowned the BRBAA League Champions!

The following week (Tuesday, Oct 16), the CMS Wildcats will play their last game against East Feliciana at Wildcats’ Stadium for 6pm. If CMS defeats Zachary, regardless of the results of the East Feliciana game, they will still be in first place. However, this game will still be important because the CMS Wildcats are aiming for a perfect season. 8-0!
