Central Bloomers Update

August and September have been busy months for the Central Bloomers Garden Club. Nancy Hicks hosted the August meeting with guest speaker yoga instructor Heidi Gill. The club was taught proper body mechanics of gardening including warm-up excersises and after task stretching to prevent injuries. Refreshments were served by Patti Richie and Cyndi Rutter.

Moving to September, the meeting was hosted by Debra Dixon. The club enjoyed an evening of sharing plants in a traditional “Plant Swap” game. Plants were described in detail for the educational side of a time enjoyed by all. Jackie Ladatto, Bill Puissegur and Carole Angelloz provided refreshments for the evening.
