Myranda and Christopher Mayo Wed in Comite Hills

    Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Mayo exchanged vows on August 4th in Comite Hills on the grounds of Joe and Jeanie May’s Home which provided the beautiful Louisiana scenery for the wedding.  The Bride is the former Myranda Clark.  Sisters of the groom, Jennifer Mayo Jarrell served as Matron of Honor and Miss Haylee Mayo served as Maid of Honor while Marissa Mayo was a Bridesmaid.  The Bride’s daughters, Myrissa Hope Eisworth and Myrielle Faith Eisworth were also Bridesmaids.  The Flower Girls were Mackenzie and Taylor Triche.   Aryelle Hooper carried the Memory Flowers.  Daniel Triche and Ryan Mengelson-Clark were Ring Bearers.   The Best Man was Justin Brooks with Sean Comer and Paul Jones as the Groomsmen.  Eddie Manes and Amber McCann provided the beautiful wedding music. 

    After the ceremony, guests enjoyed food and fun with music by The Drew Danzy Band at the reception under the pavilion. The Bride’s sisters, Kayla Saltz and Dr. Myriah Mengelson-Clark served the cake.   As the night wound down, a limo arrived to wisk the couple away amid a shower of bubbles.  The bride’s parents are Dr. George and Mrs. Dianne Clark of Central.  The bride is a graduate of the LSU School of Music.  The groom is a graduate of Louisiana Tech in Aviation Management.  His parents are Clifford and Deborah Mayo of Central.  The groom’s grandparents are Mrs. Joyce Hooper of Central and Mr. Johnny Mayo of Clarksville, Fla.  The happy couple will make their home in Central.    The wedding was officiated by Rev. Fred Wideman of Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
