Jewell and Barbara Wilson Celebrate 60 Years of Marriage

    The Wilsons were honored with a “Day Of Celebration” in New Orleans. This day was no ordinary day. The Day of Celebration started early at Franks restaurant in Gonzales. Following breakfast, they were chauffeured to New Orleans where The riverboat Natchez escorted them down the Mississippi for a two hour tour. Upon disembarking from the riverboat, they were escorted to The Café Maspero, where they enjoyed a rare combination of superb Louisiana fare served in a lush New Orleans setting.
    Following lunch, a buggy ride was provided to enjoy the sights and sounds of New Orleans. Before concluding the Day of Celebration they were served beignets from Café DuMonde where they received applause from the crowd.  They were ushered back home to kick back in their La-Z-Boys and know they are loved.

Daughter, Brenda McClure—Grandson- Trey and wife Trish McClure—great grandchildren Emmy and Drew McClure, Grandson- Todd and Wife Hedi McClure, great grandchildren Maverick, Ryann, Riley, & Madden McClure, Grandson Tanna and wife Kaley McClure and Baby on the way.
