Council Member Ralph Washington Considering Term Limits

By  |

In a discussion with Central Speaks on Wednesday, Council Member Ralph Washington agreed to consider bringing Term Limits for Central Elected Officials to the City Council for consideration. Most of the conversation Wednesday was a frank and “off-the-record” sharing of thoughts on Term Limits and other issues. The only specific consent to publish the discussion was to say that “a Council Member” was considering bringing Term Limits to the City Council for consideration. Mr. Washington called today and shared that he had intended to have the comment attributed to him.

With our misunderstanding as to attribution of the statement cleared up, I would like to thank Mr. Washington for coming forward and discussing the issue, and for the possibility that Term Limits will actually be considered by Central’s City Council.
