“Cooking in Central” to Elect Five Board Members

Cooking in Central will be electing five board members to serve three year terms. Anyone interested in serving must fill out an application and email it to [email protected] or [email protected] by May 30, 2012. The election will be held at our next general meeting Tuesday, June 5, 2012, 6:30 PM at Kristenwood.
Requirements and duties of the Board of Directors:
— Board members must be an active member of the organization.
— If elected to the Board of Directors, members will be required to serve a three year term or until a successor is elected.
— Each Director is required to chair, co-chair, or serve on at least one committee.
— Each Director is required to be available to work both days of the annual event and any other event that the organization may hold as a fundraising activity.
— Each Director is required to attend a minimum of 75% of membership and board meetings. Directors not meeting the attendance requirement will be notified by letter from the Secretary or President.
