Come Be a Part of Central’s Relay for Life

Central Relay for Life is coming on Saturday, April 14th. The event will run from 12 noon to midnight at Zoar Baptist Church. Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s major fundraiser, with Relays happening year round all over the country. Join us for a time of celebration and fundraising for a great cause!
Relay for Life is also a way to celebrate the lives of those in your life who have or who have had cancer. You can purchase a luminaria in honor or in memory of someone who has had cancer. Luminarias are $10 each and can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or on the Relay website at www.RelayForLife.org/CentralLa. The luminarias will be part of a moving ceremony at the Relay, honoring and remembering those who have battled cancer.
You can also submit photographs of people you know who have had cancer. These photos will be part of a special slide show during the luminaria ceremony. Email the pictures to [email protected]. There is no charge to submit a photo. Include in the email the person’s name and whether the photo is in honor of or in memory of that person.
