Health Fair coming to St. Alphonsus

A south Louisiana party is coming to St. Alphonsus Catholic Church!!   

* A heaping tablespoon of flu shots ($25) or pneumonia shots ($45) which is free if you have Medicare part B.  (Please note that PPO & HMO insurance is not accepted.)

*  A chunk of health screenings such as Hearing, Blood pressure, Blood sugar, Vision, Stroke, Oxygen saturation BMI, Body Fat, and Peripheral disease and Cholesterol.

*  A sprinkling of community resources with good information such as EBR Library, Catholic Deaf Center, OLOL Palliative Care with 5 Wishes booklets, LA Answers, OLOL Elderly Services, Homewatcher Caregivers, SHIIP, OLOL Blood Bank, Mary Bird Perkins, Acadian on Call, LOPA, Hospice of Baton Rouge, American Cancer Society, Braveheart,  and the Baton Rouge Police Dept.

* A dash of door prizes, many from Louisiana companies and some refreshments.

Mixed together= a good healthy time.  There is something for everyone.  Join the party in the St. Francis Room at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd.  on October 14^th from 9AM-12N.  We will have a good time on the Bayou! Laissez Le Bon Temps Rouler!
