Carissa Hill and Jordan DeWitt to Marry December 17

     Carissa Leanne Hill, of Central, and Jordan Eugene DeWitt, of Denham Springs, will marry in a 1:00 P.M. ceremony December 17, 2011 at the Fleur de Lis Event Center in Mandeville.

     The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven G. Hill of Central.  She is the granddaughter of Mr. And Mrs. Dale H. Hill of Baton Rouge and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin R. Watt of New Springfield, Ohio. 

    The bride-elect is a graduate of Central High School and will graduate December 2011 from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Elementary Education.

     Her fiancé is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Minyard, of Denham Springs, and Mr. and Mrs. Dennis E. DeWitt, of Pineville.  He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Mercer and Mr. and Mrs. Gene DeWitt, both of Rayville.

     He is a graduate of French Settlement High School and an upcoming graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Kinesiology.
