Central Relay for Life Kickoff Meeting Tuesday

    Central’s next Relay for Life has been scheduled for April of next year to avoid football games and the blazing heat of summer.  The first organizational meeting for Relay will be held this Tuesday, August 30th at the Central Library on Joor Road.  The meeting begins at 6 PM.  The meeting and the Relay event are open to everyone of all ages.  Relay for Life raises money for the American Cancer Society.  It is also a wonderful ceremony that honors cancer survivors and celebrates the lives of those we have lost to cancer.  Central groups and businesses have done a wonderful job of supporting this event for the past several years.  Come to the meeting if you are interested in being a part of this meaningful event.  You can help as an individual, or you can put together a team from your friends, family, business, or other group.  If you would like to be a part of Relay but you cannot make the meeting, please send an email to [email protected], and you will be sent more information and updates after the meeting.
