Chamber vs Central Speaks Competition Heats Up in Corporate Fit Challenge

  The Central Chamber of Commerce and Central Speaks are going head to head in the Spectrum Fitness "Corporate Fit Challenge".  The teams will meet at Spectrum Saturday morning to kick off a six week regimen of exercise and diet.  The team losing the largest percentage of body weight wins.  Central Speaks has issued a simple press release stating: "The Chamber has no idea what they have gotten themselves into.  We expect they will be throwing in the towel in about two weeks."  Reached for comment, the Chamber Board Chairman stated: “I’ve heard that the crew over at Central Speaks has been talking trash……  The Chamber’s not worried about those keyboard jockeys. We’ve put together a sound game plan – we’ve been eating like there’s no tomorrow for the past two weeks in order to bulk up and weigh in heavy at the kickoff session. We’re confident in our strategy. We will kick their tails!”

    Each team will consist of 6 to 8 members and will have full access to Spectrum's gym for the 6 week competition.  In addition, there are optional group workouts, one-on-one appointments with the team trainer, weigh-ins and dietary consultation.  There will also be individual winners in the weight %, total pounds and total inches lost categories.  Spectrum Fitness will be kicking off a new Corporate Fit Challenge as often as companies sign up.  To enter a team contact Spectrum Fitness at [email protected] or call 225-654-3800.
