Coach Mire Leaves Central

Head Baseball Coach Chris Mire has left Central High to become the Assistant Baseball Coach at his Alma Mater, Destrehan. Mire will be working under the same coach he played for at Destrehan, which is Mire's home town. Athletic Director Sid Edwards shared Wednesday that Coach Mire came to Central at a difficult time and did a good job. Coach Sid also assures Central fans that they can relax because he is doing what it takes to hire the best person for the job to replace Mire. Good luck to Coach Chris Mire at Destrehan….except when he plays Central.
