Chamber of Commerce Events Coming This Month

These events were advertised this week in the Central Chamber of Commerce e-newsletter.  Mark your calendars for the following:

Monthly Membership Luncheon Meeting
On Wednesday, March 9 we will have our Members' Luncheon Meeting.  This will be a great time to come out and network with others in our Chamber.  The two candidates for Family Court Judge will be speaking and Mike Odom, from BRAC, will be sharing about the newly launched "Creative Capital of the South" regional campaign. This campaign is designed to help boost the image and economics of our region.  Come on out and meet some new members, network, and find out what is going on in our area.
 
Jazz Picnic at Magnolia Square (not a Chamber-sponsored event, but a great opportunity to have fun in Central)
Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 12 noon till 4PM
Free and open to the public

Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Ceremony
Here we grow again!  On Tuesday, March 15 there will be a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and a Grand Opening Event for the new North Point Family Health and North Point Spa complex.  Starting time is tentatively set for 5:30 pm. Watch the E-Newsletter for other event information.
 
Chamber to Chamber
Baton Rouge Area Chamber will be coming to Central for a joint Chamber of Commerce event.  The event will take place on Thursday evening, March 24  This will be a great time to show place The City of Central Chamber and our wonderful City as well.  Make plans to come out and network with Chamber Members from the nine parish area.
 
Grand Opening Event
For The Quarters, Burlington Lakes, and Gates at Burlington
Saturday, March 26 from 11AM – 4PM
Ribbon Cuttings at all three locations from 1PM – 2:15PM
