From auto accident injuries to TMJ, headaches to scoliosis, Central Chiropractic Center has highly trained professionals to help you deal with any painful situation you find yourself in.  Dr. Damon Butler, D.C., graduate of Texas Chiropractic School and Central resident, invites anyone suffering from whiplash, carpal tunnel issues, degenerative conditions, sports injuries or even pregnancy discomfort to come see what Chiropractic can do for them.  Having just celebrated their grand opening last week, Dr. Butler and his staff are available to handle digital x-rays, electrical stimulation, lumbar or cervical traction, and exercise and resistance training.  They offer many methods for reducing pain and the results of injuries, including flexion, distraction, activator, neuromuscular reeducation, and diversified techniques.  Personal injury cases are welcome, and most insurance is accepted, making it as easy as possible to deal with an already painful situation.

According to the American Chiropractic Association website, Chiropractic is “a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.” Chiropractors, also known as Chiropractic Physicians, often use techniques such as “spinal manipulation” or “chiropractic adjustment” to restore range of motion in injured joints.  They have hands-on, drug free methods to treat their patients and are trained in diagnostic skills that enable them to prescribe therapeutic and rehabilitative exercise.  They can also provide counseling in nutrition and lifestyle.

The following is a testimonial from a patient of Dr. Damon Butler: Courtney Lockhart, 30, a resident of Central, said on a recent visit, “When I was 18 years old, my legs began giving me problems so that the only way I could walk was by holding onto walls and countertops to get around my home.  For the last 12 years, I’ve been working with different doctors and finally, after several months of chiropractic care with Dr. Butler, I am pain free and walking without discomfort.  It’s kind of like a miracle.”

Dr. Butler is presently accepting new patients at the brand new facility at 8755 Sullivan Road, Ste A (next to Lake After Hours).  He has another location at 8888 Jefferson Highway for his patients’ convenience.  Schedule an appointment with him at 706-0454.
