Central Veteran’s Day Activities

    The City has two special events coming up next week in regard to honoring our current and former service men and women on Veteran’s day.

    There will be a special ceremony held on Veteran’s Day, November 11th at 6:00 PM at Grace Pentecostal Church (formerly Central Worship Center) which is located at 13845 Hooper Road.  This is directly across from the football stadium on Hooper Road.  We wish to honor as many veterans as possible at this ceremony.  We would like to invite everyone to stay for refreshments after some very special presentations.

    There will also be a special flag raising ceremony at the City Hall of Central (13421 Hooper Road) on November 11th at 9:00 AM.  State Representative Bodi White will be presenting the city of Central a flag which flew over the Capital at Washington, D.C.  This flag will be raised in honor and memory of our veterans.

     We are asking that you contact any person/member who is a veteran and ask that they attend this ceremony if possible.  For the churches, please place a note of this in your bulletins, or announcements at your services this weekend.
